Last-Minute Tips to Follow when Appearing for IBPS RRB Exam

  • Do Not Pick New Topics –

At Least a month before the exam date, aspirants must stop picking up new topics for preparation. This is because any possibility of stress must be avoided as it may bring down your entire hard work at once

  • Revise and Focus on what you know –

Establish full command on the topics that are your strengths and ensure that no errors are made there. The last one to two months must only be spent on revision. To strengthen what all has already been prepared and leave no scope of error there

  • Stay Calm and Engage in Things You Like –

Generally, the preparation for bank exams can be extremely overwhelming considering the comprehensive syllabus and the tough competition from all ends. Thus, to avoid getting stressed, engage in activities you enjoy and can keep you calm. Overpressuring oneself can also lead to silly mistakes which must strictly be avoided in the exam

  • Ensure to Have All Required Documents –

When reaching the exam centre, one must always carry identity proof along with the call letter. No candidate is allowed to enter the exam venue without these documents. Failing to get these documents can also result in disqualification of the applicant’s candidature and he/she may not be allowed to appear for the final exam. Thus, make sure who have all the papers which have been notified by the conducting body

  • Do Not Stress –

When we work under pressure, we tend to make mistakes. Thus, staying calm and composed and avoiding stress is the key to attempting more questions in the online papers. Even in Interviews, stress that is clearly seen on the candidate’s face may not leave a very positive impact.

  • Practise Mock Tests –

Once you have covered the syllabus, start solving mock tests. These are easily available online, and candidates can solve them for free at any time of the day. The marks scored in these papers help the aspirant evaluate their performance and focus on the sections which require more practise and hard work. By solving these papers, one can also get a clear idea of the type of questions that may be asked in the final examination

  • Reach the Exam Venue on Time –

This is an essential point to remember. The guidelines for appearing at the exam centre are mentioned on the admit card. Each and every candidate must go through them carefully and follow them to the core. No latecomers are allowed to enter the exam venue once the entrance time is over
